The Cabin

The weekend after the 4th of July we spent a couple days at the cabin. It is uncertain how many more years we will have the opportunity to do this, so I wanted to get up there at least once this year. It was nice to get away and spend some time in the peaceful mountains. It was a beautiful weekend with beautiful weather.

Taking an evening walk down by Tibble Fork Reservoir.

Jenna throwing rocks into the creek.

Cheese!

Looking at a fisherman trying to catch a fish.

Mount Timp

Jenna all bundled up in the chilly morning.

We decided to take a drive down to Cascade Springs to walk around. I hadn't been there in a few years and thought Jenna would enjoy being outside and seeing all the pretty scenery.

Fast asleep.

It cracked us up to have turned around in the car to
see how Jenna's hat had nicely fallen down onto her face.
I felt bad having to wake her up.

The beautiful springs.

Mama and Jenna

After getting back from the springs and taking a nice afternoon nap,
we took another stroll down to the reservoir.
The weather was so nice, we couldn't help it!

Jenna sitting in the dirt, and not enjoying it.

Putting her fingers into the freezing water.

Jenna wanted to get in the water really bad.
I don't think she realized how cold it would be.
She sure loved splashing in it!

Standing in the freezing cold water.
Jenna kept wanting to go in.
It was too cold for me!

The End.
