More Milestones - May

I'm continually amazed at how much Jenna is learning and growing each day. In May Jenna reached a few more milestones.

Milestone #1 - Jenna can hold her bottle! What an accomplishment, I know! It makes it nice when I can lay her down on the floor and she'll drink her bottle while I get some other things done.

Milestone #2 - Jenna pushes herself up onto her knees. This girl is on her way to crawling! She will get up on her knees and rock back and forth. She will also get into the push up position and then push up onto her tip toes and stick her butt up into the air like a stink bug. It's too cute!

Milestone #3 - Jenna can now push herself into a sitting position. She is able to sit for longer periods of time and enjoys sitting up to play rather than lying down or being on her belly. The only down side to this, is now she tries to roll over and sit up while getting her diaper changed. Makes that job SO much harder!

Milestone #4 - Jenna has learned how to clap! I can say "clap, clap, clap" and she claps. We also play patty - cake. She's really only got the clapping part down, but it's sure cute! Here is a video of it.

We love our Jenna Mei! She is such a goer and is always trying to figure out how things work. It is fun to watch her as she discovers something new. She furrows her brow in concentration and works at it until she figures it out, or cries because she gets frustrated. I look forward to being there for all she has left to discover!
